Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  2. Add water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves
  3. Simmer gently for 10 minutes
  4. Let cool completely
  5. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, pressing solids with a spoon
  6. Transfer syrup to a clean bottle or jar
