Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans (medium roast)
  • 4 cups cold filtered water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Combine coffee grounds and water in a mason jar. Steep at room temperature for 12 hours
  2. Strain coffee using a mesh strainer into a pitcher
  3. Mix heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate container
  4. Add cream mixture and simple syrup to the strained coffee
  5. Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes
  6. Serve over ice and stir well

Notes

Steeping at room temperature is crucial for bold flavor
Adjust simple syrup to taste preferences
For non-dairy options, use oat or coconut milk
