Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots chilled espresso
  • 1 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 12 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup milk or plant-based milk alternative
  • Extra mint for garnish

Method
 

  1. 1. In a blender or shaker, muddle 4 mint leaves and the sliced lime to release flavors.
  2. 2. Dissolve brown sugar in hot water, let cool.
  3. 3. Add crushed ice to a glass, then layer in espresso and cold brew coffee.
  4. 4. Pour sugar syrup over ice-cooled coffee mixture.
  5. 5. Top with milk and remaining mint leaves.
  6. 6. Garnish with extra mint sprigs before serving chilled.

Notes

Use plant-based milk for vegan version
Adjust coffee strength to taste
Syrup can be doubled and stored up to 1 week
