Ingredients
  

  • Strong brewed coffee (1/2 cup)
  • Milk (1/2 cup)
  • Coffee ice cubes (1/2 cup, pre-frozen)
  • Sugar or sweetener (2-3 teaspoons, optional)
  • Whipped cream (topping, optional)
  • Chocolate syrup (1 teaspoon, optional)

Method
 

  1. Chill 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee and cool completely.
  2. Freeze coffee in ice cube trays to make coffee ice cubes (1/2 cup needed).
  3. Combine 1/2 cup chilled coffee, 1/2 cup milk, and coffee ice cubes in a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth and slushy.
  5. Adjust sweetness with sugar or sweetener if desired.
  6. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream if desired.
  7. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if using.

Notes

Use dark roast coffee for richer flavor
Dairy-free milk options like almond, soy, or oat milk can be used
Freezing time typically takes 6-8 hours for coffee in ice cube trays
Adjust sweetness to taste; start with a smaller amount and increase as needed
