Ingredients
  

  • Brewed espresso or strong coffee: 2 shots (approx. 2 oz or 60 ml)
  • Milk of choice: 3/4 cup (approx. 6 oz or 180 ml)
  • Cherry preserves or jam: 2 tablespoons (approx. 40g)
  • Pure vanilla extract: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ice cubes: 1 cup

Method
 

  1. In a glass, add the cherry preserves and pure vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  2. Pour in the brewed espresso or strong coffee and stir well to incorporate the cherry-vanilla mixture.
  3. Add milk of choice to the glass.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  5. Stir gently to chill and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a sweeter drink, you can add a touch of simple syrup or your preferred sweetener. Adjust the amount of cherry preserves to your taste. Ensure good quality preserves for the best flavor. If using whole milk, the latte will be creamier. Dairy-free milks are a great alternative.
